Surviving with Sverve

Sverve adds thirst and environmental conditions to the usual survival loop. Food alone won’t prepare you for a long trip.

Stay hydrated

Drink water bottles to stay hydrated. Heat increases thirst as well as hunger, so bring water when travelling through hot conditions.

Prepare for the temperature

Heat increases hunger and thirst. Cold slows healing, and extreme temperatures can kill. Plan around the climate and bring protective gear.

Insulation, Heat Protection, and Thermal Protection enchantments help protect you from environmental conditions.

Use your surroundings

Campfires, torches, and lava can warm you up. Rain and swimming affect your body temperature: stay dry when you need warmth, or use water to cool off.

Server owners can tune these systems through configuration.
